Well, I'm off to bed Anna. As long as I don't wake up to a Labour/SNP coalition, I'll enjoy breakfast as usual :)

4/1? Ah well a quid would have paid for breakfast :D

It looks as though it would have to be a labour ,libdem, snp coalition. The tories could probably do a deal with a northern ireland party.A coalition with the DUP has been talked about in the past.

Too difficult to say isn't it. Will have to see what happens tomorrow.

Few parties would dare coalition with Torys. Labour would have a choice.

Close between the SNP and Labour in many seats.

May, Farron, Sturgeon and Wood should resign if the exit poll is right.

Oh...and Nuttall.

the exit poll will very probably underestimate the level of Tory votes, and support. I think they'll just creep over the line, like they did last time and get a 15-20 majority. But it has been an absolutely disastrous campaign for them.

this was a pointless election to begin with anyway, and Theresa May was badly advised to call it. The existing Tory majority of 16 was quite comfortable enough. Even a majority of 6 is quite comfortable enough. Small majorities concentrate a governments' mind wonderfully.

The Tories have won but such a disaster for the Tories really, even though they have been returned, that after a 6 and a half weeks campaign, they are in exactly the same parliamentary position they were before, except with a bit of a shuffling around, of MP's. If they were selling a new brand of toothpaste, I'd want my money back. They've just wasted the country's time.

Hard to believe that exit poll to be fair.

Talk of turnouts being very high seems a bit tosh to me. Every polling station I went past today had no queues. Hardly anyone about.

I was the only person in mine. But there were queues at universities.

I reckon the SNP will end up with 50.

It sounds almost like the BBC team want to start doing cartwheels in front of the cameras.:hihi:

What? The Corbyn hating BBC?? Why would that be?
