Any impartial information out there on the key political parties?

I'll tell myself off after answering, but if the Tories could conjure up money from thin air then they can conjure up money to support our services irrelevant of how much it would have cost if we let the banks fail.

 

Now SgtKate, no political opinions in this thread, we have many others. OP asked for impartial advice and none of us are so shush.

 

When you 'conjure up money from thin air' you devalue the pound.

 

When I was a child I wondered why poor countries just didn't print more money. That was when I was a child...

But yet we did exactly that to save the banks, because it was decided that the costs to letting them fail was higher than the hit to our economy by devaluing our own currency. Perhaps the value of our NHS and schools is also worth the hit to our currency?

Sure but we both know it is a lot more complicated than that. Or at least one of us does.
