What, damn those experts, how dare they be right about the disastrous consequences of leaving the largest trading block in the world and having no other options or even a credible negotiating position to leave on. It's probably all their fault I expect, being so negative!

Whilst we're doing that, an empire of which the emperor is selected from the member states and rotates through the job on a regular basis, and which is run by a democratic election process with each member state electing a number of people to form the governing body.

I mean, it starts to sound a lot like some weird democracy instead of a empire of the reich.

But is it, or is it just jobs for the boys, A roundabout of the same old people in a Cabal

the pound is slumping against all currencies, going abroad is now simply more expensive, as is getting things from abroad...

Keep hiding phil, if that works for you.

Or a 15% pay rise for companies and individuals with income that's born abroad

No, it just implies that you asked a load question. Perhaps where you lied to the people about the need to be hit in the head.

That'll help out the ones who were being ignored and left behind who voted for Brexit won't it,they'll all be dancing in the streets for those companies and individuals while they fork out money they never had in the first place to keep living

But all that will do will be to drive price rises and inflation.

Thus the structural divide will grow even wider leaving many of those who voted to leave behind.

Now you're showing sympathy for those who were ignored and left behind? :suspect:

Mind you Chalga it really doesn't matter what arguments are put foreword because most of what you read on this thread is motivated reasoning. Once your gut has spoken there's no turning back.

If you fundamentally believe in Brexit, your beliefs doesn't change based on facts and figures or any other reasoned argument however good they are.

One could argue the consequences of Brexit thread is nothing but a royal waste of time :P

We already know that from the survey taken that Brexiteers are more than happy to damage the UK economy for the sake of principle.

If you want to ignore the ones that were ignored and left behind and so voted Brexit, for the sake of trumpeting the case of business making profits off the back of a weak pound, that's up to you,the truth is,Brexit and the success of it will not be judged on how many trade deals you strike with the rest of the world, but how those lives of the ignored and voiceless will have improved because of Brexit, because if they don't improve, what will have been the point of them voting for Brexit?
