The Consequences of Brexit [part 4]

Recommended Posts

Oh yes, remember that, Project Fear. Advance warning of financial disaster amongst the threats of war.

At least we have today's headlines to keep us safe tonight: Pound soars against the euro on Brexit divorce bill breakthrough

Soars back to a level where we have only lost how many percentage points from before the election?

I think that brexit has pretty much achieved the financial disaster for the UK, so at least it has delivered on one promise...

You have to wonder at the ineptitude that involves commissioning a £30bn nuclear weapons system upgrade to protect against the Russians, then caving in to Russian wishes off the back of a few million quid spent on what is effectively warfare through the media.

Trident didn’t help us there did it

How short sighted are you?

Ensuring the renewal of the Trident program keeps the UK at the very forefront of the new SMR market predicted to be worth between 250-400 billion.

The posts on here are very predictable :P

Yup, even down to brexiteers grasping at any straws...

So remind me... how much has the pound been devalued since the leave vote?

Not much being said on here about Davis's lack of democratic process.

Not much being said about the £100bn that the UK has agreed it owes (although it will try to get the final bill down).

Nothing being said about the impossible Irish border question.

Nothing being said about the non-EU immigration figure of 900,000 residency permits issued in 2016 - up by 52%

So glad to have control back...

Any brexiteers like to provide some positive spin around these statements?

You missed the point completely it seems.

Make another thread about SMRs and Trident

Why would anyone wish to engage such a blatant lie as your £100m nonsense? It's simply not worth the effort of humouring you.

its not nonsense, its mentioned here

we pay 50 but

The Financial Times said Britain had agreed to assume EU liabilities worth up to 100 billion euros, but said net payments over many decades could fall to less than half that amount.

i've even put it in bold for you ;)
