The Consequences of Brexit [part 4]

Are you sure about that?

It about time we walked away from the talks, called their bluff. Can not see it happening but we need to.

The problem is that we're the ones who have been trying to bluff, they aren't bluffing.

No deal is far worse for us than for them.

But we knew this all along, it's what "project fear" said, perhaps "project reality" would have been a better moniker. But then perhaps we might have voted to stay and Nigel Farage wouldn't be off swilling beer and collecting his EU pension.

You're one of those who doesn't understand the difference between debt and deficit either. No wonder that Marxist lecturers find it so easy to churn out so many easily led and feeling entitled graduates against such a lack of economic literacy at large.

it doesnt matter what it is, you said it was nonsense, all i was showing is that its there, in black and white.

About spending £30bn on a defence system then getting done over by a few million quid of Russian spending on social media?

Like I said you missed the point

You are quite obsessed about Russia. Let it go I, let it go old chap. The USA might have an issue ( we will see) but then the USA also has a long history of meddling in overseas elections themselves which makes them a bit of a target for the Russians since the Ukrainian elections. There's nothing of note to suggest that the EU Referendum was affected.

Russia-based Twitter accounts that targeted the US presidential election also used divisive and racist rhetoric in an attempt to disrupt politics in the UK and Europe

Russian interference in Brexit through targeted social media propaganda can be revealed for the first time. A cache of posts from 2016, seen by WIRED, shows how a coordinated network of Russian-based Twitter accounts spread racial hatred in an attempt to disrupt politics in the UK and Europe.

None so blind?

... But it's ok because we have taken back control...

Mm - U've got got a LOT to learn e.g. Control is just an illusion !

U think our politicians are any less dysfunctional than there's ? ( Given that 90% of our species is dysfunctional & even worse in areas where they seek power e.g. politicians, corporations bureaucrats etc ) - Dream on !

You're so funny. You'll need to develop a new kind of mental gymnastics to turn 139 tweets from 29 Twitter accounts into 17 million Leave votes.

Off you pop. :)
