The Consequences of Brexit [part 4]

Recommended Posts

Mrs May stated on the day she called the General Election in Downing Street the reason was to strengthen her hand for Brexit Negotiations.

And her hand hasn't been strengthened. Far from it. She has to rely on the DUP. The best thing that could be done for the country and the younger generation now is to abandon Brexit, face up to the tinpot little Englanders, and admit the costs and economic damage that will ensue simply isn't worth it, just to appease a bunch of elderly bigots who won't be here in 10 years time anyway. It will be a humiliating retreat, but it is one the Tories, through their own arrogance and putting party before country, will have inflicted upon themselves in the pursuit of short term political gain.

That £50 or £60 billion the EU wants belongs to the NHS.

No British politician should be giving away NHS funding, especially to the corrupt EU.

That is the price of Brexit. That was 10th on the list of priorities back in 2015. That Brexit bill has been imposed upon us by a bunch of idiots who blame Europe for our problems, and refuse to pin the blame where it really belongs - on Westminster.

65% of over-65s voted for Brexit, likewise a similar percentage voted for the Tories. How many of them will stil be here 10, 15 or 20 years from now. The overwhelming majority of 18-30 year olds, who didn't want Brexit will still be here then, and no generation has done more harm to this country than the present generation of pensioners. And this isn't a 20-something saying that but a 50-something, who remembers very well what that generation was like 30 or more years ago.

Whence she learned that past performance is never a guarantee of future performance, and that your mileage may vary :hihi:

Plus there’s 700,000 new voters every year. Over a 5 year parliament that’s 3.5m

are you saying they are all bigot and should be discarded?

For the benefit of the country and its young, it is best that they are discarded. They represent the past, not the future. And the future is what matters. They've done enough damage in their lives.
