The Consequences of Brexit [part 4]

Recommended Posts

Brexiteers, being older are dying off at a much faster rate than Remainers. It stands to reason - 65% of over-65s voted for Brexit. True patriots want their kids to have things better than what they did, the ageing I'm alright Jack Brexiteers don't.

But that's just a point of view, Mature people may have a different point of view, just because of age life expectancy does not make there views any less relevant. You could die tomorrow does that make your views irrelevant?

Its a brutal fact, unlike the lies plastered all over the Brexit battle bus and the pages of the Daily Mail, Sun and Express, which the likes of yourself chose to believe. But the Brexiteers will shortly be yesterdays men.

Been here before what lies were on the bus, do you need a pic of it?

A lot of them are probably out of touch, maybe getting their news from the right wing print media and maybe quite wealthy in comparison to previous generations of pensioners.

Maybe it is going to require a period of economic mayhem and job losses for (those that are still alive) to realise what they have done.

The average age of Tory party members is 72.

Perhaps it shows you get more sensible with age,

Seems the younger you are the more foolish.

We don’t have to wait. They’re just naturally dying off although they may be taking their chances in a privatised NHS soon.

But the Brexiteers will shortly be yesterdays men, and today's young will eventually get their chance to reverse the wrongs of their predecessors.

Unfortunately that isn't true.

We may have the chance to rejoin the EU (assuming we leave), but it won't be on the terms we have at the moment.

The suicidal tendency are leading us off a cliff.

Been here before what lies were on the bus, do you need a pic of it?

“Dominic Cummings has let the cat out of the bag. This is the man who slapped the £350m NHS lie on the side of the bus who is now saying leaving the EU could be a mistake.

“These Brexiteers have sold us a pup and lied to the public. This is why I believe the public should be given a say on the final Brexit deal.”

"Dominic Cummings, the Vote Leave campaign director, described the referendum as a “dumb idea” before other ideas had been tried to win back powers from Brussels. He has also warned that Brexit is shaping up to be a “guaranteed debacle”, without big changes in Whitehall to deliver a successful negotiation."

"Yesterday, the official Treasury figures for UK contributions to the EU budget came out. In 2016/17, it showed, the UK contribution to the budget was just £156m a week – less than half of what Vote Leave promised. The entire Vote Leave campaign was built on 200 million little lies."
