Lockdoctor
But we had voted in the 70s to support membership - now you are challenging the democratic vote that happened then? And that's ok? You contradict yourself - or is a democratic result not binding forever? ! How am I challenging the 1975 Referendum vote?
Litotes
How am I challenging the 1975 Referendum vote? That was a democratic vote to not leave the EU wasn't it? And now you are supporting the overturning of that democratic choice, aren't you?
Car Boot
But thats what brexit has done, divided the country, divided EVERYTHING We were already divided by the time of the referendum. Between the haves. And the have-nots. Brexit will help even things up.

I1L2T3
Yes, I support both the referendum results. So another referendum shouldn’t be a problem for you.
Lockdoctor
So another referendum shouldn’t be a problem for you. I don't think there can be any justification for another referendum before the consequences of the 2016 have been sorted. Then whatever is agreed needs to be given a reasonable amount of time to work before another referendum about Europe should even be discussed. But if there is a popular demand for one, then you have no problem with there being one? Why does time come into it?
melthebell
Will the likes of tesco be able to get away with this type of despicable behaviour after brexit? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-42353256 or will it just cost more for their "woodside farm" ingredients? apelike
But we had voted in the 70s to support membership But we never had a vote to originally join in the first place so basically we were denied that democratic choice. ---------- Post added 14-12-2017 at 18:49 ---------- Less than 40% voted to leave And less than 35% voted remain!
