Hairyloon
Huh, can't you even clarify what you meant by 'we would most likely be all sorted now'? I can, but I thought it'd be interesting to see what you think...

Hairyloon
So what is 'we would most likely be all sorted now'? What do you think would have happened, if Cameron had acted on his promises?
SnailyBoy
What do you think would have happened, if Cameron had acted on his promises? Lol... Thanks for clearing up your hyperbole. My answer....who knows, what's your point?
Hairyloon
My answer....who knows, what's your point? Oh, nobody knows, but the most likely scenario is that it would have rapidly been shown up for the farce that it is, they would have spent their time being shown up instead of entrenching themselves in an impossible position and Ms. Miller's court case would have shown that they hadn't met the constitutional requirements and the notice was invalid. Then there would have been riots and a large slice of the nastier elements of our society would have been imprisoned en masse. Sorted.

Hairyloon
I voted to remain but I've excepted we lost. It's time others did the same now. Why? Isn't the better idea to recognise the folly for what it is? Some of the lead Leave campaigners have already done so: why shouldn't the pretend turncoats do likewise? Jeffrey Shaw
Isn't the better idea to recognise the folly for what it is? It's the entire EU project farce that's the folly. Even Mr Juncker considers it ridiculous; and so do I.
