Car Boot
The thing is with referendums, its the voters that decide, if the voters have their heads screwed on the right way, we will get the correct result - no matter how many referendums. That's very true. We certainly got the correct result back in June 2016, when voters had their heads 'screwed on the right way' and showed their displeasure with the enemies of the working class - the EU. El Cid
What advantage will there be to the "working class" when we are out of the EU? The economy will wobble and it may cause a decrease in house prices, because everyone is skint? ---------- Post added 08-02-2018 at 17:48 ---------- So 1-1 at the moment... AV referendum was a pile of do-do too; not sure what the correct result was, as it was the wrong question. Had the question been clearer in 2016, if they had asked if people wanted to leave the EU, the single market and cease free movement - who knows. Jeffrey Shaw
Referendums are anathema to the UK. They're a cop-out. Whyever cannot Parliament decide these things, large or small?

They could do in the main but chose not to and blame the eu for all our ills, egged on by the gobfrothers at the express and mail.
