The Consequences of Brexit [part 4]

Recommended Posts

If pro-capitalist, anti-working class individuals and organisations supported Leave, I guess these Remain supporting individuals and organisations must be anti-capitalist and pro-working class:

David Cameron

George Osbourne

Warren Buffet

Sir Philip Green

Lakshmi Mittal

JP Morgan

Morgan Stanley

Credit Suisse

Goldman Sachs International

Santander UK

Serco

Financial Times

So to look at it another way the whole Brexit thing boils down to which faction of the elites will control the U.K.

This post is getting rather boring now, it must be obvious to ALL who post on it that the REMOANERS will still be moaning in 10 years time, as will the BREXITEERS about the benefits of leaving. Both sides are entrenched in their own opinions and are hardly going to change their minds.

Angel1.

So how do we judge the success of leaving, in a few years time?

Growth compared to the rest of the EU, currency rate compared to the Euro; thats a good 2 ways for starters.

Last December it was reported that Mrs May planned to spend huge amounts of taxpayers’ money exempting her husband – along with other people who work in the City – from Brexit. Has this been investigated by the Propriety and Ethics team? Which could seriously harm the Conservative general election campaign:

It seems the Cabinet Office Propriety and Ethics Team has launched an inquiry into whether the company which employs Theresa May’s husband, Philip, could have potentially made large sums of money from Brexit market movements caused by her decisions.

If so, it is not only a clear conflict of interest for May, but a breach of the ministers' code of conduct which states that 'Ministers must ensure that no conflict arise, or appears to arise, between their public duties and their private interests.'

The investigation could be even more damaging to the Conservative election campaign as Mrs May claimed from the start that it would be about Brexit. The investigation has raised concerns it could 'really' be about any profits she and her husband can make from Brexit.

The central point of the complaint is that the Capital Group, a global investment company which manages $1.4 trillion of assets for corporations and high net worth individuals, could have had knowledge of market sensitive information that would have benefited their clients over Brexit. The situation would particularly apply to currency movements.

Philip May who works for the Capital Group, could, in theory as the PM’s husband, have had some prior knowledge of major political decisions by his wife....

But the declaration of interests by Mrs May does not disclose his exact role and the preamble to the declaration says 'To disclose such details would involve unjustifiable intrusion into the private affairs not only of Ministers, but of their close families.'

Just you try this and see how quickly they hang you out to dry.

and nor will the brexiters actually tell us what will happen, what they want to happen or how it will actually make our lives better :suspect:

its just soundbites, lies, mistruths and the constant name calling of calling those that oppose "remoaners"

NO FACTS

How can anyone give FACTS about the future ? Do you know what will happen tomorrow ?

Nope I’m not envious of him. Far from it.

I’m angry that his agenda means loss of rights for millions of people. You should be angry too but you’re too busy fawning over people who simply don’t care about you.

Why the comment about Graft then ? :) And about how much he stood to gain ? No envy in those two comments :D

No investigation into Philip May has been launched,May hasn't said she is going to spend taxpayers money exempting him from Brexit, more fake news.
