The Consequences of Brexit [part 4]

Recommended Posts

The governments own predictions for brexit are terrible damage to the economy.

So either the brexiteers are happy with terrible damage, or they're happy with a leap into the unknown where terrible damage is likely. Either way is insane.

The Prime Minister, Theresa May, has stated that the UK will no longer be sending “vast amounts of money” to Brussels - so there will inevitably be more cash available for spending priorities, including the NHS.

It looks as if the £350 million per week for the NHS was actually too low a figure.

Let's give the wasted vast amounts of EU money to our NHS!

This is the same prime minister who said there would be no general election - and almost immediately went back on her word.

And yet you believe her?

"All lies and jest, still a man hears what he wants to hear

And disregards the rest"

What about the rest of the projects funded over here by "EU money"? Will they be cancelled or continued?

We need to stop funneling large amounts of public money into EU projects such as the European Social Fund (ESF). A4e received €60 million of ESF funding between 2007-2010 which enabled it's founder and chairman to pay herself £8.6 million in 2011, in addition to her £365,000 annual salary.

European projects are simply about redistributing public money towards the already very wealthy. Brexit will put a stop to this.

The British people can hold Theresa May to her word, and sack her at election time if she proves false on this.

We cannot hold the EU to account on anything.

I’m starting to suspect this is a bot account.

Are you really saying that ordinary people haven't benefitted from any EU funding?

100% propaganda, the type of thing people fell for over the past 20 or so years from the likes of ukip

LOTS of ordinary folks benefit from the ESF on a daily basis, yet he prefers to focus on one company that may have done wrong, theres thousands of firms out there delivering training and education to millions of unemployed, minorities, disadvantaged for FREE because of this fund
