hgdave
Corbyn said six months, I think he may be right. I think that may scare a lot of older voters who sat on their hands last time especially if Mays gone to go out and vote Edited June 28, 2017 by hgdave finnishing thread
Berberis
I think that may scare a lot of older voters who sat on their hands last time especially if Mays gone to go out and vote A lot of younger voters will also smell blood and encourage their compatriots to get out and vote if another election is coming. Expect to see an additional swing from Lib Dems to Labour at the next election as the troops rally to the stronger flags.

Michael_W
he will be PM within 3 years. If another election is called with Corbyn at the helm of Labour it will come down to the Corbynites v the Anti Corbyns, like Leave v Remain, again it will be close but the Anti Corbyns will rally too and the outcome will probably be the same again, for many people he is too far left and too toxic for the economy. ---------- Post added 28-06-2017 at 15:21 ---------- You said before that the working classes you know at the pub were staunch Labour supporters 30 years ago, but have no time for Corbyn's 'fluffy brand of socialism.' What socialism would bring back your working class mates to Labour? I don't see a return, like me they have got older and their views have changed, as people have said before there is sort of a generational split, Corbyn is making the right noises to Students for example. They may not be so loyal now they have realised they were nothing but pawns.. The tories are no mugs they quickly drop the dementia tax and associated attack on pensioners benefits, i new plenty who were going to vote tory for the first time in their lives until the tory manifesto came out.I think a knew leader possibly David Davis will give Corbyn a good run for his money .
