Football Lads' Alliance march 24.6.17.

Recommended Posts

Despite an estimated 10,000 taking part, this totally friendly and peaceful march was little reported. It was a march against hate and terrorism and included speakers from many communities, including a Sikh leader in all his regalia. No banners, flags or placards were allowed.

The event brought together rival football fans shaking hands from the London clubs with wreaths and a minute's silence on the London Bridge scene of the attacks. This new alliance is wanting similar get-togethers elsewhere in the UK. If you haven't heard of the Alliance, there's a video on You Tube ( the best has the picture of hands together.)

This is going places and is a non-political protest by largely working class lads forgetting their rivalry for the sake of some action against the threat of more deaths from terrorism.

Theres a good article relating to the founder of this movement on 'Shy Society' if anyone wants a read - or even better if theres someone who is competent enough to provide a link.

The Spurs fan who started this movement states its No Racism, No Violence movement. The march last Saturday seemed to go extremely well with no reported incidents.

How it was not reported in the mainstream media is nothing short of a disgrace.

Be great if someone could put a link up :help:

Incidentally that's what the likes of the EDL say too. And we know how they stick to that

They seem pretty good ground rules to me.

Have you read the article from 'shy society' ?

Did you see the amount of people who marched through London on this march - without violence ? Some estimates say 10,000 !

Exactly.

The question is, why ?

The EDL / Antifa confrontations were reported upon that very same day.

Yes it's almost as though they are deliberately trying to confuse the two marches so that people assume the Football Lads were part of the EDL march.

I do find this extremely worrying that almost ALL mainstream media did not report this march.

They don't report when Muslims demonstrate against terrorism/grooming gangs either so nothing new....
