gamezone07
as above, my car won't start, it is parked on the road, and i have home assist, but how does it work, do they attempt to repair the car/just start it, what about parts, the car may not start as the yellow fuel light is on, that isn't covered, but anything else? with START RESCUE, level 3, i think i get 30 mins free labour only. banjodeano
i think they will only just start it, if it needs parts they will fit them and charge you for them
barleycorn
They will try to start it. If they can't then depending upon what they think is wrong they may try to repair it. Most likely they will just tow it to a garage of your choice. Of course, you could just call them and ask...
willman
tbh i'd call them first . I had Start a rescue policy last year, it was only after i'd signed up it became apparent they charged £25 call out on my policy. Fuel light obviously just means you're low on fuel, only you will know if you've been driving for 50 miles with the light on or if it's only just popped on. geared
The race charge £90 if you run out of fuel They stick in 5 litres and get you started Really? Thats abit bad! My mate was an AA patrol man a couple of years ago, he used to keep a jerry can of fuel in the van because it was the most common cause of breakdowns. Would just take a fiver off the person and stick the fuel in the car, job done.
Andy1976
From experience - if it's something they can fix with just tools at the roadside, they will. If they can't, they'll get you to a garage or home, as they did when my clutch popped.
