mickey finn
What's a family friendly pie? Maybe they wanted the thread to be family friendly, you know how pies can bring out the worst in people, I'm sick of seeing pie based violence and bad language. Entirely agree, perhaps that's why they never made (or stopped doing so), Kray brothers ,Mooney gang or Millwall football club pies.
bluecanary
What's a family friendly pie? I interpreted this as a family friendly cafe/pub to eat pies, but I like the explanation of non-offensive pies much better.

Yeh, what about a Sweeney Todd pie?. ---------- Post added 14-07-2017 at 22:31 ---------- I like Crawshaws meat and potato pie straight from the oven in the mornings at Hillsborough and for pork pies I know it's not Sheffield but Turners at Jump in Barnsley have got to be the best.
