St vinnies shop

Has anyone scored a real bargain from these shops, i bought a queen sized ensemble for next to nothing and im still sleeping on it 10 years later ,its the most comfortable bed ive ever bought, im sure there are plenty of other things people have purchased for a bargain.?

Many years ago I rang them to see if they wanted a three piece suite, it was in good condition and cost a fair bit but we were having a complete change. The answer I got on the other end of the phone was that they had more than enough of suites and if it wasn't good enough for me what makes you think someone else wants it? ? ? Well I never rang them again until recently and I must admit the response was entirely different, they came to pick the piece of furniture up or otherwise I would have put it on gum tree.
