Carbooty
No need to be patronising, especially as you have no idea what youre talking about. If you go into Wilkos on Haymarket then you'll know exactly what i mean. The store has been totally transformed for incoming influx of students. In fact the majority of the 'Point of Sale' signs say STUDENT on them. Im gonna pop in later so i'll take a photo for you Any retailer witk all the competition thats about at the moment has to focus on where the sales are coming from. In a few weeks that will have changed and it will be about Christmas. Students bring a lot of revenue to our city don't knock it.
Geo-atkinson
Meadowhall retail park’s decline started years ago, well before stering’s 20% overnight drop (thank you Sir Nige’) I suspect Sheffielders are generally tight-fisted and are simply using the economic downturn as an excuse to not pay anymore than they have to for things Why would anyone want to pay more than they have to for anything? I'll pop round your house if you like and sell you a copy of The Star for a quid.
