Arthur Ritus
I always thought Bobby had sons from his first marriage? But it seems only a daughter (estranged) who lives in America? He had 2 sons both older than his daughter, when she was little he used to call to her "babby knut". Hope they are all well in whatever they are doing now and have my condolences, even if not close to their farther he was still their dad.
pattricia
His role in The Price of Coal was tailor made for him. I also thought he would have been good in The Full Monty. He would have been hilarious in the stripping scene at the end.

scousemouse
I bought a new tv and managed to find the 'price of coal' the years rolled away. The thing that struck me most was how slim and dark haired he was!

V Meldrew
Would have liked to have seen him cast in more serious roles as he was a great actor. The part in Benidorm was not the best writing for him but think he was glad of the work to keep him occupied after the tragic passing of Donna. Did they both own a gym at the bottom of West street in the 80’s?
