Jeffrey Shaw
Is it just my impression, or are more famous people (esp. actors/actresses) dying this year than might usually be expected? Note: this is not an all-purpose obituary thread but more of a statistical investigation.

(there seemed to be hundreds go) but we're reaching the point where all our favourite celebs are in their 60s, 70s, 80s so its inevitable

hauxwell
Perhaps it's their life style, drugs, cigarettes and also the stress of being a celebrity, combined with some of them getting older and how they have abused their bodies, it's finally caught up with them. What's that saying it come in three, but there does seem to be a few of them dying.
Anna B
More famous people than ever before, with the rise of television in the 1950's. Now they are beginning to reach the end of their lives. Bruce Forsyth is a prime example.
