*_ash_*
It's also because you're getting older, so obviously know of more people. I bet most kids haven't got a clue who Vera Duckworth is. And if not for Dancing programme, I bet most wouldn't know Brucie
Phanerothyme
Is it just my impression, or are more famous people (esp. actors/actresses) dying this year than might usually be expected? Note: this is not an all-purpose obituary thread but more of a statistical investigation. if the forum statisticians can't give you a reason, it's definitely worth seeing if Tim Harford has ever blogged about it. Cyclone
The BBC wrote something about this last year I think. It's not that statistically "more" stars are dying, it's just that these days there are MORE stars in the first place, and so the same proportion as always are dying, but it seems to happen more often because the absolute number is higher. Yeah but if you look at who, most have been a star for decades
ANGELFIRE1
No matter if you are "famous" or do a dead end job for the basic wage, we are born, we live, then pass on. There is no escaping the fact. Angel1.
