I1L2T3
Corbyn running the country is a scary thought. It is scary if we had a PM who wouldn't defend the country with nuclear weapons. It is scary that the Rocket Man is behaving the way he does. . In contrast to the current bunch of clowns, which includes a defence secretary who idiotically reclassified Trident as a first strike weapon. That in turn led to a reminder from the Russians that we'd be burned to a crisp if we ever tried it. Anyway, we can't afford Trident.
blake
Mrs May increased the share of the vote for the Tory party in the last election, We all know it was expected the Tory party would increase their majority as well as their share of the vote. in the 2017 election the Tory vote increased by 12% compared to 2015, which sounds OK until you take on board that the Labour vote increased by a MASSIVE 28% - more than any major party's vote has ever increased between two consecutive general elections in history. Make no mistake who's got the electoral momentum, and it's not the Tories. If there's a general election tomorrow or in the next few months, the Tories are going to lose, and they know it. There isn't going to be a general election until after the Brexit negotiations have completed. The DUP deal has guaranteed that. If there was a general election this week, then I still think the Tory party would win the most seats. The Tories would have a different manifesto and the students would be less likely to believe Corbyn about his student debt promises.
banjodeano
Mrs May increased the share of the vote for the Tory party in the last election, while in the German election Mrs Merkel's party share of the vote fell. We all know it was expected the Tory party would increase their majority as well as their share of the vote. The media is bad in this country and are carrying out a witch hunt against a good lady. Mrs May is honest and wants to implement what people voted for in the referendum, despite the fact those wishes were not her personal wishes at the time of the referendum vote. A good lady? we dont need good people, we need competent people, and Theresa May is anything but competent, she can bearly speak to people if it is not scripted for her... Nice to see that Corbyn is the bookies favourite to be the next PM

They would walk away in an instant if Brexit was going to damage NI. The last parliament lasted under 2 years. There are dozens of pro-remain potential Tory rebels. Any manifesto the Tories brought out now -judging by May's opportunistic and shameless theft of Progressive left policies - would be seen for what it would be and that is Labour-lite. The young people of this country won't be fooled so easily. From Cameron's impressive 2015 victory to this shambles is quite something. But keep you head in the sand. ---------- Post added 08-10-2017 at 10:05 ---------- A good lady? we dont need good people, we need competent people, and Theresa May is anything but competent, she can bearly speak to people if it is not scripted for her... Nice to see that Corbyn is the bookies favourite to be the next PM If you were a bookmaker, they why would you not have Corbyn to be favourite to be the next PM? Any Tory on the list, would have to first win a leadership election and normally the favourite candidate for that contest doesn't win.

Because government collapse before the Tories can elect a new leader is now seen as more likely. Note there doesn't have to be a GE for Corbyn to become PM. If the Tories can't hold a government together the queen can invite Corbyn to try. Obviously a Corbyn government would last a matter of days before a snap GE was called

Labour increased their vote by 9.6% from 2015; where are you getting 28% from? They still finished with the some of the lowest number of seats in a GE that Labour have ever had, they even had more seats in 1979 and 1992. Labour need to get another 64 seats at the next GE to get a majority.
