I remember Joe had a cousin that lived on a road to the right off school road, before you got to Western Road, but can't remember his name. Did Dick Hardwick have a sister called Linda ? if so she was in my class and is on that May Day photo. Yes Dick's sister was Linda. She married Dave Winfield, a Walkley lad. Lived on Tasker from 57 until1967 then School Rd . The Shop at the top at the top of the road I remember as Phylis's was she always there ? Think there was a Shoe repairers opposite her. I lived next door to her until 74 there is another post or it could even be earlier in this one which talks about phylis freddie alcock was in a band called the Jetblacks and his german girlfriend/wife ran the hairdressers at the bottom of Salisbury.
