Money can't buy heritage and no amount of money can buy or create an alternative brand to the British Royal family to equally benefit the British economy. I don't think any alternative use for Royal funding could deliver better value for money and most likely would just be wasted. Absolutely, and as we reach this critical juncture in our nation's history, the British monarchy will play a key role in how we re-calibrate our relationship with the rest of the world as a free-trading Atlantic power. The Windsors are working closely with the Cabinet Office on a strategy for next year's Commonwealth Summit which will be hosted in London and Windsor for the first time in a decade. There's major pomp and ceremony being planned, and the event is being dubbed a 'homecoming'. Over 50+ world leaders will be descending on London under the auspices of Her Majesty as we reinvigorate the British Commonwealth and give it new meaning and direction. I cannot wait! Did Charles once say if he ever becomes king he was going to stop most of junior royals receiving state money ?
