Mr Trump - All discussion here

There was a few on the Sheffield Forum who said Trump would be impeached within months of his Presidency when he was first elected, they got that wrong.  I also think he is a sure winner for the next presidential election. There will probably be more untruths about him when the campaigning starts, but he’ll just rise above it and come out on top.

I much prefer Trump to Obama, Bush junior and the shameless Bill Clinton who lied about his affair with Lewinsky.

The hate for Trump is genuinely pathetic. He was not a sexist, Until he ran for POTUS. He was not a racist, Until he ran for POTUS. He was not a misogynist, Until he ran for POTUS. These so called intelligent liberals just cant see through their hate for him hate to connect the dots.

I never had a problem with the guy until he went back on his promise to stop interfering with other countries internal affairs. He was going to stop america being the worlds policeman, the worlds bully. He was also going to have that evil witch Clinton arrested and investigated. He went back on those big time, I dislike him intensely for that but I dont dislike him for made up reasons that CNN etc etc tell me to dislike him for.

That depends on who they nominate.  If they come up with another neo-con Clinton clone (i.e. Beto O'Rourke) then, yes, the DNC and their media mouthpieces will be right behind him (or her), and yes, this will just further entrench the Trump vote (and further alienate the independent/progressive vote, which will also help Trump).

If, on the other hand, they come up with a progressive candidate, then the DNC and their mouthpieces will do everything they can to stop him (or her) being elected, but it's possible that a lot of Trump voters might go for them anyway.  For instance, our very own Sierra has expressed admiration for the UK's universal healthcare system, something similar to which would presumably be a core policy for any progressive candidate.

Thats a good point.

No. Unless you think racism is good. Unless you think misogyny is fine. Unless you think crass stupidity is a  great quality for a world leader. Unless you think being a pathological liar is a grand quality for a president.

Of course he was. It just wasn't as widely recognised.

Assuming that you can, and have connected all the dots, what's the picture that we can't see?

What did you expect from a pathological liar? What are the 'made up reasons' you're being told to dislike him for?

Then how would you know? You know because of  what you have been told. You have been told by people with an agenda. The agenda is to get him out of office.

The made up reasons? That he is a racist, misogynistic etc.

You also call him stupid. Have you ever ran for office? Are you a billionaire? Are you known the world over (before he was POTUS)?

There are genuine things to dislike the man for like the points I made earlier. Dislike him for those not because of the lies you have been told.

There's a very substantial body of evidence for those - and the rest.

You also call him stupid.

That's because there's a huge body of evidence that he is.

No.

No.

No, but I'm puzzled as to why you think any of those points disprove the assertion that he's a colossally stupid individual.

I base my assertion that he's  racist, misogynistic, stupid and a pathological liar solely on things I've heard him say, not through any third party.

Can we have examples of this stupid, homophobic, misogynistic etc etc etc behaviour?

There should be masses of it so it shouldnt be a problem supplying a wealth of evidence.

One thing though, no left wing, liberal or Democrat sources please.

Edit. Re the "grab em by the whatsit" comment he made.

Ill admit that is vulgar, crass and disgusting and had he said it in my presence id have probably lamped him for it.

The interweb is your friend. I'm not doing your research for you, but I'm happy to give you a couple of freebies - here's a good piece from the Washington Times about Trump's racism https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2018/01/15/opinion/leonhardt-trump-racist.html

and here's one about his misogyny from Time http://time.com/5047771/donald-trump-comments-billy-bush/

Examples of his stupidity and compulsive lying are so frequent you can't miss them.

Trump has more women as top advisers than Obama, Bush, or Clinton had. He truly must hate women. Also he must be a racist because the regressive left said so. I bet the supermarkets are doing a roaring trade in tin foil with the all of the conspiracy theorists the left now have. Let's call orange man names because that's worked well for everyone so far.....

I would agree with you Halibut. But then we would both be wrong.
