That's one hell of a lot of typing when you could have just summed it up by saying that you can't bring yourself to condemn the words of your hero even when he's advocating tearing up the US constitution.

Seeing as you're having trouble finding what exactly the issue at hand is, here's the business end of your hero's message:

That's bad, right?  No one could support or dismiss or attempt to deflect from that, right?  Let's have a look... Oh look; apparently someone could  :

That's quite the assessment given that you're talking about his own words written by his own hand on his own social media account posted by himself on his own phone.

Yes, it was.  Front and centre.  And The New York Post, Fox News, New York Times, Washington Post, etc etc etc.  Given all the prominence expected when a former president advocates ripping up the US constitution to further his own political goals and promote his lies.

Everyone saw it and dismissed it as the usual deflect, distract and divert word salad you write when you can't and/or don't want to address the specific and uncomfortable question asked or issue raised, just like you're doing in the rest of your last post.

The issue isn't 'what do you think about his style of tweeting'; or 'what do you think about whatever the Dems have been up to'; or 'what do you think about the activities of moderate Republicans'; or 'what do you think about the consequence of his deranged words'.

So let's be more direct, then:

Bad thing for an ex-president to want to do, right?

Tweeting about it is still free speech in America! (or was!  )

Doing something about it is a different matter!

The voters will get a chance to weigh in, and either reward him, or abandon him.

He's a politician after all!

How many times do I have to tell you lot:

Politicians lie!

I don't listen to what they say, I watch what they do!  :)

I'll take a few mean, triggering, tweets, as long as his policies are good for the average citizen! Energy sufficiency, low inflation, jobs aplenty, no depending on Russia and OPEC mad mullah's to keep the lights on!

I'll even take Trump and Putin shaking hands and saying nice things about each other (lying through their teeth.) You have to understand "diplomacy" to get it!

Over another major European War, and the closest we have come to "Armageddon" since The Cuban Missile Crisis. according to Biden himself.  :)

That's a lot of typing to completely fail to address anything in the post you responded to! :loopy:

You know it's bad when you have to make stuff up so cover your own shortcomings... so sad. :(

In essence, Trump really could shoot someone on 5th Avenue... you'll not only have failed to see it, you'll object to any investigation into it throughout.

It's tanking:

Trump trails DeSantis and Cheney in Utah poll of possible 2024 GOP contenders

https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/3762163-trump-trails-desantis-and-cheney-in-utah-poll-of-possible-2024-gop-contenders/

The midterms were a referendum on Trump, he lost.

"Democrat led government agencies"... a figment of your imagination.

Framed as such for political reasons, not a reality.

For spotting the gullible though... bang on!

Massive own goal, and plenty more to come by the sound of it

...is your M.O... far far more than any other poster on the forum.

Was also Trumps rallying cry throughout the 2016 election, for someone who had been found innocent.

A Trump cheerleader shouting "Innocent until Proven Guilty", especially you in light of your many many posts on the matter...

...just laughable. Zero credibility whatsoever.

As usual, the reality could not be farther from your claims.

A claim that falls flat in the face of fact, the biggest slice of MSM in the US is Fox News... they invariably do not endorse Democrats.

Just another waffling, nonsensical load of babble to convince yourself you really didn't back a dud.

Nothing more than a complete mish-mash of pathetic, illogical excuses.

Thanks for highlighting your continued susceptibility to getting your pants pulled down... but not much else, as usual.

Wouldn't know where to start with that load of triggered ranting rubbish!

So I'll wish you a Nice Day,!

And you can relax and call it another WIN for you! :)

There's "diplomacy" and then there's "being played like a fiddle"...

...Trump did the latter.

A statement so devoid of any logical or diplomatic reasoning, historical context and political understanding...

...about as credible as trying to claim there were no new pandemics under Biden.

Loopy logic, based on ignorance, nothing more! :loopy:

Of course not, you lack anything based in fact to support your ridiculous claims...

...we know!

Cheney now polling better than Trump though... you've gotta laugh! :hihi:

Have a nice day!  :)

What have we here?

Not only have The Guardian, and the BBC, dropped this latest Trump "bombshell", from their main website, but no mention of it today on CNN's website too!  :)

Seems the outrage is all happening here, in Sheffield!  :)

Could it be a case of "once bitten, twice shy"?

Or just another Trump Tempest in a Teapot?

Translation: Blah, blah, blah.  Still not going to condemn Trump wanting to rip up the US constitution.  Case closed, I think.

And Tweeting isn't 'free speech' in America.   You should look it up.

Always going to be a story of more interest to US than UK media.

Maybe CNN were content that what they said yesterday covered the issues.

Never thought having to explain how international rolling news networks work to a grown bloke would actually be a thing, yet here we are.

A foregone conclusion.

Imagine having to jump through a load of illogical hoops in some vain attempt to justify stuff that any 'normal' law abiding citizen, in any other situation, would rightly be appalled by...

...Trump loves the poorly educated... writ large!

The inevitable xkcd:

ETA: the alt text for that image is also a delight:

I can't remember where I heard this, but someone once said that defending a position by citing free speech is sort of the ultimate concession; you're saying that the most compelling thing you can say for your position is that it's not literally illegal to express

Lol

No concept of history!

Skeptical views of the powers that be, are obligatory if a society is to remain free. Censorship is the absolute opposite of free speech, unless it breaches duly constituted  and published Laws.

When monopolies can control the means of modern communication, watch out!

Not only society, but science can not advance if opinions and ideas are deemed  too radical for society to evaluate and dismiss as they wish. Communists in Asia, Cuba, Africa and are an example.

But the good news is when Socrates was put to death for spreading his opinions on government and society, and Galileo was forced to recant. their ideas did not die with them, or the Sun would be still going around the Earth.

A few skeptics would have been helpful to Germans in the 1930's too. Lots of sneering and seal clapping there!  :)

Who, really, are the Flat Earthers?  :)
