Bannon warns Trump will be sentenced to ‘multiple years in prison’ despite experts saying otherwise

Former Trump advisor Steve Bannon said former President Donald Trump will be sentenced to "multiple years in prison" in his Manhattan hush money trial

In a speech at Turning Point USA's Detroit conference, Bannon bashed the legal cases against the former president and predicted, with certainty, that Trump will be sentenced to years in prison on July 11.

"They've turned the legal system. They've turned the legal system, whether it's bankruptcy, whether it is taking away somebody's law license, whether it's de-banking, and they have the greatest president this nation's head since Abraham Lincoln, and they're, they're about to put him, by the way, you know ... on the 11th of July, they're going to sentence him for multiple years in prison. You understand that, right?" Bannon said.

Tbh I wouldn't be at all surprised. I mean, the Democrats have to steal another election somehow.

Locking up their opponent is one way i suppose.

"Bannon was convicted of contempt of Congress in 2022 after failing to provide documents and testimony to the House Select committee that investigated the January 6, 2021, US Capitol attack. He was sentenced to four months in prison."

If Biden had made that mistake the right wing press, and some on here, would have been all over it claiming it as evidence of cognitive decline so you can hardly blame them. Not to mention the irony of getting it wrong whilst accusing your opponent of cognitive decline...

As they are in law courts when asked to provide evidence of their claims of fraudulent election results.

With the possibility that the Republicans will re-open pandora's box of goodies, if elected, the Leftist "narrative": has subtly shifted from, "THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE OF ELECTION FRAUD.!", to:

There was no election fraud "THAT WOULD HAVE CHANGED THE OUTCOME OF THE ELECTION"!

A subjective view, impossible to prove or disprove!

Especially when nobody in the Left's Lawfare business, was interested in investigating and prosecuting it, like looting and theft under $1,000, in California and New York.  😀

I do wish the Halibut would return to the Forum.

At least he recognised what kind of man Donald Trump is.

I've seen enough interviews and   documentaries relating to Donald Trump to realise how awful he is, and anyone that praises him should be ashamed of themselves.

That's because the election fraud that evidence was found for was committed by Republicans. So no, whilst election fraud has been found, it couldn't have changed the outcome of the election because Biden would have won by even more if Republicans hadn't committed it.

And the trials for the fake electors attempting to certify false state results hasn't wound its way through court yet.

Lol

Don't you mean the only evidence investigated, and prosecuted, by the Biden Lawfare Establishment was against Republicans?

Imagine if Trump supporter Elon Musk had done this, and Trump had won!

Zuckerberg’s cash fuels GOP suspicion and new election rules

DENVER (AP) — When Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg donated $400 million to help fund election offices as they scrambled to deal with the coronavirus pandemic late last summer, he said he hoped he would never have to do it again.

Republican legislatures are granting him that wish.

At least eight GOP-controlled states have passed bans on donations to election offices this year as Republicans try to block outside funding of voting operations. The legislation often comes as part of Republican packages that also put new limits on how voters can cast ballots and impose new requirements on county or city-based election officials.

The response is spurred by anger and suspicion on the right that Zuckerberg’s money benefited Democrats in 2020. Conservatives have long accused the tech mogul’s social media platform of censoring right-wing voices as part of its campaign against misinformation.

The Election Officials were no doubt grateful for such help! Very, very appreciative, indeed!  😀

Just a friendly patriotic gesture, but after the election, they had to change the laws to ban it!

Another low hanging fruit to pick if the Republicans win big in November.

Hearings on just who got the money, and how it was spent.

With that kind of moola, you can buy lots of "mistakes", "breakdowns in the system", and changed and missing ballots!.

Like with the Epstein deal, he had to go, and when his assigned cop murdering cell mate didn't do the job the first time, then the 2 video cameras failed to operate, and the two jailers fell asleep.!

This in the most secure penitentiary containing the 21st Century most infamous prisoner. 😀

All mistakes, breakdowns in the system, and nobody was held accountable.

So easy to fool the citizens, they actually doubled down and blamed the Republicans for under funding the jails where poor jailers were overworked, and stressed out!😀

They got balls, I have to admit!

From your first link:

Quote

Election experts had estimated it could cost $4 billion to make all the changes, but Senate Republicans never acted on a relief bill from the Democratic-controlled House that included $3.6 billion to help voting officials.

...

The money will pay for protective equipment to prevent spread of the coronavirus at polling sites, drive-thru voting locations, equipment to process mail ballots and more.

I agree, private citizens shouldn't need to fund election offices. Maybe if the Republicans hadn't blocked extra funding for election offices to deal with the problems caused by responding to the pandemic he wouldn't have needed to. Maybe Trump shouldn't have installed, major Republican Party donor and fundraiser for Trump, Louis DeJoy as US postmaster general in May 2020 who proceeded to have automated sorting equipment removed from sorting offices - hindering its ability to process mail in ballots when many more people were expected to vote by mail and Republican states were closing in person voting facilities in predominately Democrat voting areas. Imagine the outcry from Republicans if a Biden appointed postmaster general was doing such a thing now.

The U.S. Election system is totally corrupt!

And the Democrats want to keep it that way.

"Ballot harvesting" whereby those Zuckerberg Half Billion dollars "donated" help fund the collection and delivery of votes, by third party "volunteers" from dead people, shut ins, nursing homes, and probably the homeless (chain of custody issues). Voter lists not purged of dead people. Street corner ballot boxes? Gimme a break!  😀

How does the untold $millions "donated" to mainly by Democrats to  Democrat voting election officials affect their judgement and rigor to ensure compliance with the rules?

Think human nature and politics!

The system costs a literal fortune to run, with all the post election litigation, Injunctions and can take weeks, even months to determine who won.

But like all the problems of World, they, like you in your post above, just take the easy way out and blame Trump.

When the reality is Trump wants, same day voting, voter ID, and the results tabulated and certified no later than the next day, including absentee ballots, that must have legally verifiable reasons, and which can be achieved by early voting.

Cheap and cheerful, as we used to say!

But common sense is a rare commodity, these days.

They loosened up the rules considerably in 2020, citing the CoronaVirus Pandemic, but this time it may be a little harder to cheat.

Pennsylvania court orders election officials to not count ‘undated’ ballots

It’s the latest twist in a long-running dispute over ballot-counting in the swing state.

During the 2020 election, three state Supreme Court justices ruled that similarly situated ballots should count, and three ruled that they should not. A fourth justice served as a tiebreaker, writing that they should count for the 2020 election but not future ones.

so, my views on Trump are obvious, and for all to see, i find him an odious individual.

BUT

Looking at the latest judgement by the Supreme court i do agree with the opposition  that it does impact on the rule of law and it allows a President (whoever that may be) to be above the law and do whatever they may want with no threat of prosecution at all, for anything.

They could kill opponents on the city streets.

Invade Countries.

Import / export drugs.

Steal and embezzle your countries wealth.

Kill citizens.

Turn yourself into a dictator by changing the countries laws and constitutions.

Order the army or civillians to take over public buildings and ignore / destroy democracy.

etc etc

some would say they do this already, but it does lessen the threat of punishment.
