You're here posting in the discussion, so you're clearly interested.

Maybe he's interested in discussion but not interested in being made to feel like a pos just so that another poster can feel high and mighty?

It's a fine line between leaving your children at home while you get your asylum sorted out, or taking your children with you and the risks that involves.

It's not just a binary decision is it.

Angel1.

oh give over thats bullcrap, most of the asylum seekers are fleeing religious, political persecution, violence, war, and killing. you DONT leave your kids in this situation, its nonsense to say they should, you wouldnt.

The point is the US is yet again calling ALL asylum seekers and immigrants as illegals, thats wrong. illegals sneak into a country and dont announce themselves.

The Mexicans in these holding/processing centres are not "refugees", they are economic migrants trying to enter the US illegally.

Mexico has its problems with crime and violence etc but this is not the US's problem. Instead of getting on Trump's case about this situation, why aren't people taking the Mexican leader to task on why so many people feel the need to flee the country?

Make your mind up.

Wanting to move away from the general crime and violence in Mexico doesn't qualify you as a "refugee" in the legal/UN recognised sense; "refugees" flee war and large scale natural disasters. If someone living on the Manor wanted to move away from the crime and anti-social behaviour to, say, Ecclesall, must the council be obliged to house them there as a "refugee"?
