Yes, what about that Penny? I'm guessing you see nothing untoward about that, but I'd like to hear your opinion just in case I'm wrong.

It's already been here, you've ignored it. Trump on white supremacists:

We're talking about the wife of the president of the United States here, not you.

That can apply to anyone, don't discriminate :hihi:

You're trying (and failing) to excuse acts of extreme cruelty against innocent children and their parents. Looks like you've fallen hook, line and sinker for Trump's lies.

There are laws. Laws are usually meant to be followed and respected. You're advocating for breaking the laws (of another country) just because you don't like the face of the country's president. Deal with it.

You're either a very poor wind up merchant or you're off your rocker.

Love Donald's brutal honesty.

So refreshing.

Are his consistent lies refreshing?

Listening to his comments on the manner of Theresa May’s Brexit negotiation skills along with his threats, IMHO he’s out of his depth. He’s used to being top dog, but to be fair we have laid down at the feet of the USA from the Suez crisis onwards, the time has come for the U.K. to stand up and be counted.

We are sandwiched between an EU super state and the might of the USA, he’s had a good rant at the former and is now doing the same with the U.K. He clearly wants May out and Boris in, which convinces me that the narcissist in him needs someone to be his yes man or woman within the EU, we have interesting times ahead. ;)

Nah, this is a well trodden path for Trump, it's part of his M.O, it's all he knows.

Like the NATO stuff earlier in the week. Lots of bluster but in reality he got nothing, literally nothing beyond the commitments made to Obama in 2014, but this has been reported in the US media his "base" reads as a huge win despite it actually being a huge u-turn.

Same thing with North Korea, Trump gave concessions and fell over himself to ingraciate Kim, but then got nothing in return. Again reported as a "win".

The "de-nuclear" talk has now gone quiet on both sides.

The latest outburst is just more of that. Regardless of what happens, Trump will claim a win regardless of how tenuous it is.

You really can fool some of the people all of the time :hihi:

To be fair, he is top dog. He is the most powerful man in the world.

I find it interesting that everyone (and by that I mean the left) criticises all Trumps policies about everything yet when he criticises others there is moral outrage.

Trump clearly pointed out that May's proposed deal would preclude a US trade deal from happening, which is absolutely correct because May's deal leaves the UK subject to EU regulations and the US can't negotiate a trade treaty based on those because the US doesn't have a trade treaty with the EU.

Any astute observer can easily see this and why a separate trade treaty with the US would be near impossible. Which is quite different from Obama's claim the US would be at the back in the queue, which was patently false as where we would stand in terms of trade treaty negotiations would depend on the circumstances at the time and the willingness of both US and UK premiers, it's not a 'take a ticket and wait in the queue for your turn' situation, which was the implication.
