Since when has talking to people face to face, (especially world leaders,) been a bad thing? Surely it should be encouraged?

I agree, but when there is such suspicion about Trump's relationship with Russia, and such chaotic contradictory comments coming from the US president, face to face talks need to be transparent.

Clearly, you've mis-understood what the issue is! No-one has said "The Russians are coming"

 

Half of Americans thinks Trumps actions are "treasonous", and that includes 21% of republicans!

It’s probably the people who did not vote for Trump who are saying his actions are treasonous, and what ever investigation is going on at the moment could take years I suspect.

Once more there will be people who are saying he will be impeached, probably the same people who said it when he was first elected and of course he wasn’t. He will survive his presidency.

The only way I think he will step down is because of ill health,

He looks healthy enough to me.

Not at all, those who voted for Trump are also saying it.

 

Only 27% of all Americans disagreed with the assessment of "treasonous behavior".

Perhaps... for what was originally claimed to be a "nothing burger" it sure has netted a lot of high profile people close to the campaign. Whether Trump knew... well, we'll have to wait and see.

I think he will as well TBH, a second term though will depend on how things like this latest episode are ultimately handled, and how many more of them there are going forward. His tax cuts may end up being an albatros around his neck by that time though.
