Seems Kim thought he meant everyone, not just NK :?

Kim must have thought that Xmas had come early when that clown was elected.

In other news, he is starting to get very hot under the collar as the Mueller inquiry gets closer to publishing its findings. Apparently his tweets are now under investigation for possibly attempting to unlawfully influence the proceedings.

It will be interesting to see if he accuses the report as 'fake news', as it is an official report by his own executive and could have constitutional implications. I assume that he is now completely surrounding himself with yes people who don't dare advise him to reign it in.

Keep tweeting Donald, when you're no longer president, you're going to jail! :D

We've gone from "There was no collusion" to "Collusion is not a crime"...

Does Trump really have the best people working for him... with defences like that you have to wonder! :hihi:

I see the "nothingburger" seems to be anything but.... :suspect:

Trump's moaning about the EU tarrifs on cars, while at the same time trying to enact policies that would ultimately make them illegal for sale in the EU:

Now we've got the next thing for the gullible to hang on to "QAnon".. I mean, you've got to laugh :loopy:

That is twice now that Giuliani has directly contradicted Trump.

He is a snake and I can't help thinking that he is looking at a post-Trump run for the presidency.

don't forget that regardless of all this gossip, Trump is still the big favourite to win the 2020 presidential election if he runs again. And he almost certainly will run again.

Even if the GOP loses the midterms coming up, and even, if they lose them quite spectacularly. That doesn't matter. A rubbish performance in the midterms doesn't necessarily augur badly in the next round of elections for the president who the voters quite rightly consider to be that bit above party politics anyway in the US. Trump is looking pretty good to be the president for the full 8 years frankly. He certainly looks from here to have a better chance than anybody else to get elected to serve the next presidential term.

A lot will depend on who stands against him.

Remember, a deeply unpopular Hillary Clinton still won the popular vote in 2016 so another win for Trump means expanding his support beyond the core redneck white vote that he can always rely on. That means doing two things. Fulfilling any electoral promises he has made, particularly on the economy as well as avoiding any embarrassments which don't matter to his core support but will make a big difference to any waverers.

And remember, any help he gets throughout facebook/fake news/Putin will be under severe scrutiny second time around.

It is by no means a done deal.

Always read the poll, rather than just specific highlights ;)

Didn't you notice the brevity of the article? No stats, no link to the poll.... they're hiding something... :suspect:

From that same poll....

Voting intentions in the midterms:

Democratic candidate 648 (45%)

Republican candidate 528 (36%)

Other 53 (4%)

Unsure 219 (15%)

In general, do you think the country is on the right track or is it off on the wrong track?

Right track 565 (39%)

Wrong track 749 (52%)

Don't know / Unsure 134 (9%)

It does have some good news on perceptions of the economy tho:

Do you think the American economy is on the right track or is it off on the wrong track?

Right track 684 (47%)

Wrong track 568 (39%)

Don't know / Unsure 196 (14%)

Lots more here:

Could change in an instant depending on how the year end turns out... interesting times.
