An innocent man would be at best encouraging the Mueller enquiry and at worst saying 'bring it on!' as at the end of the day it will find no evidence and exonerate him. A guilty man will do all he can to hamper the enquiry, publically criticise those carrying out the enquiry, call a perfectly legal enquiry constituted by the US government 'illegal', use his powers to remove people from positions of authority, and basically do everything he can to undermine the credibility of the enquiry because he knows there is evidence to be found that can damage him.
