NY Times columnist admits he was 'wrong' about Trump's supporters, says Russian collusion story was a 'hoax'

New York Times columnist Bret Stephens said Trump's supporters were right to be angry at the system

"The New York Times published a series of op-eds by its opinion columnists Thursday that began with the phrase "I Was Wrong About." As part of the collection, Bret Stephens admitted he was wrong to label Trump supporters "appalling."

"Stephens said, "The worst line I ever wrote as a pundit" was the first he ever wrote about Trump: "If by now you don’t find Donald Trump appalling, you’re appalling."

"This opening salvo, from August 2015, was the first in what would become dozens of columns denouncing Trump as a unique threat to American life, democratic ideals and the world itself," he continued".

Another process "crime". Contempt of (Pelosi/Schiff/Nadler) Congress. Lol

And of course, On Appeal.

4 years of subpoenas (a truly amazing and unprecendented number) by a partisan Congress and their kangaroo courts, and they are still looking for evidence of the real crimes, they have alleged, ad nauseum.

Shouting, "fire", and crying "wolf" and claiming "bombshell evidence" for years has beeen an abject failure.

Of the hundreds of Subpeonored witnesses, can they find a tax cheat, a liar, a crooked lawyer, if they investigate enough political players ? In Washington, the answer will always be yes!

No doubt, there'll be more, before the election.

This circus will go on, until November mid term elections, when the Republicans take over.

Until then, their desperate efforts to jail Trump and any body he has ever met, for "something". "anything" goes on.

Meanwhile the electorate have tuned them out.

"Fox News finished first on a 24-hour basis during the week of July 11 to July 17 for its 28th consecutive win with an average of 1.36 million viewers, according to Nielsen. MSNBC finished second with 824,000 viewers, followed by CNN with 564,000 watchers."

Trump is at 42% favorability

Biden's Job Approval 37.2%

Pelosi is at 32% favorability

(RCP Average of all polls)

Hang on for the ride!  :)

Given Fox's reputation for accuracy, no wonder most people don't trust the media...

...does explain why you get caught out so often though! :hihi:

Lol

41.9% is not 42%

I think we can agree on that!  :)

Would you round 41.9% down?  :)

I wouldn't round it at all, there is no need unless you're trying to mislead... which you clearly were, as usual.

If we are rounding though, it's clear that with regard to "favourability" there's pretty much no difference between Biden and Trump...

...which, given the staggering difference in circumstance, is not good news for Trump!

"Mislead?"

If you feel misled, by somebody rounding 41.9 to 42, on a blog, that's your problem you'll have to deal with. Report it to the moderators.  :)

How many MILLIONS does Joe Biden routinely get wrong, as in gun deaths, and COVID deaths in the U.S. ?

And he gets paid!

Lol

If posting numbers from two entirely different polls using an entirely different metric, when numbers from the same poll using the same metric are available (but happen to show almost no difference), isn't an attempt to mislead...

...what is?
