Lockdoctor
LUNCH WITH THE POPE President Donald Trump invited the Pope for lunch on his mega yacht, the Pope accepted and during lunch, a puff of wind blew the Pontiff's hat off, right into the water. It floated off about 50 feet, then the wind died down and it just floated in place. The crew and the secret service were scrambling to launch a boat to go get it, when Trump waved them off, saying "Never mind, boys, I'll get it." The Donald climbed over the side of the yacht, walked on the water to the hat, picked it up, walked back on the water, climbed into the yacht, and handed the Pope his hat. The crew was speechless. The security team and the Pope's entourage were speechless. No one knew what to say, not even the Pope. But that afternoon, NBC, CBS, ABC, MSNBC, and CNN reported: "TRUMP CAN'T SWIM!" Calahonda
Next presidential election is planned for 3rd November 2020, declared candidate Geoffrey Fieger looks like Trump mk2, no women candidates so far, if Trump still has a pulse he could win a 2nd term, now there’s something to ponder on. Lockdoctor
His ratings are on the decline...especially amoungst middle white women. Mrs May's rating were on the up when she called last year's General Election. If Donald Trump decides to seek re-election and the Democrats choose another poor candidate, then Donald Trump is more than likely to win again. Mrs May isn’t Donald Trump...I’m not sure how you’ve made the connection You’re also forgetting who the republicans put forward...they certainly didn’t with Trump! High ratings for a candidate before a election don't guarantee a landslide victory. I gave an example.
chalga
The loose cannon has started rolling around again:hihi: Trump said on Thursday that the United States would apply duties of 25 percent on imported steel and 10 percent on aluminum to protect U.S. producers, although White House officials later said some details still needed to be ironed out. “When a country (USA) is losing many billions of dollars on trade with virtually every country it does business with, trade wars are good, and easy to win,” Trump’s tweet read.“Example, when we are down $100 billion with a certain country and they get cute, don’t trade anymore-we win big. It’s easy!”

mrcharlie
RE: Trump Steel Tariffs I'm not up on global economics, please bear that in mind before trolls decide to have a bash. With news of Trumps latest power-trip adding tariffs to imported steel. Can someone please explain how that can better a country's economy. As I see it US manufacturing could only survive by buying stocks in outside the US. The only real benefactor besides the country selling the steel is the consumer, they get an item at a lower production cost. By forcing US companies to trade with US steel producers at higher costs then surely this will drive up production costs meaning consumers will face a higher purchase price. Clearly they will look elsewhere or avoid buying, the item manufacturer will lose sales and jobs will be lost. Add to this, other countries will naturally be narked by Trumps bullyboy tactics and will introduce their own tariffs on imported US stock, consequently meaning higher prices for consumers, meaning consumers will purchase different brands and thus creating yet more job losses in the states. Is that right, or have I missed something completely fundamental to trumps decision. It looks like its going to be very painful all round.
