Kevin R.Brock is not a lawyer and does not hold any law qualification...

...he doesn't consult on legal issues :?

Kevin R. Brock is a former assistant director of intelligence for the FBI and principal deputy director of the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC).

And who are you?  :)

So he's not a lawyer, and his role at the FBI did not involve giving legal advice

Here's one of them:

Quote

The unredacted parts of the affidavit make no attempt to articulate cause that Trump was not authorized to have these documents in his home. The reason is that, as president, he had broad, legally intimidating authority, established by law and court determinations, to declassify any and all documents and to determine what is and is not a presidential record. Trump and his legal team have asserted that this authority was exercised while he was still president. Therefore, a violation of these fairly low-level and seldom-prosecuted document-oriented statutes cannot be proven.

There's a procedure to follow for declassifying documents that even the president must follow. If Trump did declassify those documents whilst president there will be a paper trail showing that he did so. Trump has presented no evidence that he did declassify the documents whilst president and, unless he does so, any claims about having done so won't stand up in court. Of course, once he ceased to be president he had no authority to declassify them.

Trump and his lawyers have suggested many different reasons why he had the documents at his home - the most ridiculous one being:

Quote

In a May 25, 2022 letter to the Justice Department released along with the affidavit, a lawyer for Trump said classified information may have been "unknowingly included among the boxes brought to Mar-a-Lago by the movers."

If Trump really did have the documents there for legitimate reasons he'd have come out and said so at the start. Instead we get a constantly changing list of excuses none of which he can provide any evidence for. It doesn't exactly inspire confidence in his claims does it.

Schrodinger's Treason:

Documents you didn’t receive, received by mistake, used innocently, declassified and then retrieved, retrieved, and then declassified, never received, and illegally placed in your home by the FBI – all at the same time.

In your opinion again.

We'll see who is right, if these matters are ever adjuciated in a court of law!

I'm sure that case will be made, if it ever comes to trial.

No more Pelosi Partisan Congressional Hearing kangaroo courts.

Time to fish, or cut bait, after 6 years of "alleging" every crime in the book,  I'd say :)

Charge the guy, take it to trial, and get a verdict.

If what all these allegations claims is true, it should be a slam dunk!  :)

What with Trump seemingly having had nuclear weapons secrets unsecured, this could get interesting. Obviously all the loons will pretend it's not happening, but it is happening.

Lol

It's been "interesting" for going on 6 years now.

Don't you read the papers?  :)

People spend too much time hating Trump (cos msm tells them too... 🐑) to realise he's spot on with most things.

Like it or not, he's right more often than he's wrong and as for corrupt?

You only need to look at the current incumbent to see what corrupt looks like.
