Donald Trump is no longer in contempt of court, a New York judge ruled Wednesday. Judge Arthur Engoron, who declared the former president in contempt on April 25 for being slow to respond to a civil subpoena issued by New York's attorney general, said Trump has now met conditions required to lift the sanction following a protracted legal battle. The judge had ordered Trump to pay $10,000 US a day until he complied with Letitia James' subpoena, which was issued in December. https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/trump-contempt-of-court-released-new-york-1.6506076 Edited September 18, 2022 by trastrick

No, he complied and had the Contempt motion "PURGED". A Contempt motion, or any Court order, like a Restraining Order is not a "CONVICTION". "New York Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron said he reviewed additional documents Trump submitted and the attorney general’s office agreed that the conditions to purge his contempt had been met". Will yer be said! Now with the documents provided by Trump, NY Attorney General Leticia James' preparation for trial on "charges" (he fraudulently inflated the values of his assetts, while negotiang bank loans) can proceed. There will be a trial, unless she drops the charges. It's all good!

You can't purge something that, you claim, didn't exist So your claim re: Bill Clinton's criminal conviction... didn't happen... ...he got a fine, exactly as Trump did. By your own metric, Bill is as innocent, or as guilty, as Trump is! Quote Will yer be said! That's a lot of waffle to concede that Trump did indeed lose all his appeals in the matter Edited September 19, 2022 by Magilla
