Going up against Ron DeSantis will be a sight to behold, especially if those who lead the Fox News befuddled sheep by their woolly little noses decide to take their backing, influence and money out of the grasp of Trump's tiny little hands and direct it down to Florida. I must be psychic: Murdoch tells Trump he will not back fresh White House bid - Media mogul turns to ‘DeFuture’ Ron DeSantis after ex-president’s poor showing in midterm elections. Quote Rupert Murdoch has reportedly warned Donald Trump his media empire will not back any attempt to return to the White House, as former supporters turn to the youthful Florida governor Ron DeSantis. After the Republican party’s disappointing performance in the US midterm elections, in particular the poor showing by candidates backed by Trump, Murdoch’s rightwing media empire appears to be seeking a clean break from the former president’s damaged reputation and perceived waning political power. Last week, Murdoch’s influential media empire, including right-leaning Fox News, his flagship paper the Wall Street Journal, and the New York Post, each rounded on Trump, calling him a loser and a flop responsible for dragging the Republicans into “one political fiasco after another”. Guest ThaBoom
Trump will have his small army of hate filled, xenophobic racist followers who'll vote for him, but doubt he'll attract the votes like he did on 2016. He's a liability and in fact, shouldn't even be running with all the baggage hanging over him- including investigations. He's a child at heart, who throws tantrums and falls out with people any day of the week.

No surprises there https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-63463738 It will be interesting to see which broadcasters follow now that Murdoch has snatched support away from Trump. There are some even more cynically grifting ring kissers out there with a TV camera and chunk of air time just drooling at the prospect of hoovering up Fox deserters. Of course they're all sniffing at the wind like vultures, and those apparently abandoning Trump now will do a complete 180 if the Trump carrion still proves to be appetising, just as they did in the aftermath of January 6th,

I agree wholeheartedly, but think the vision of a 'Get Out of Jail Free" card was also somewhere in the mix. 3 hours ago, Hecate said: It will be interesting to see which broadcasters follow now that Murdoch has snatched support away from Trump. I wouldn’t trust Murdoch as far as I could spit him, but I can’t see a u turn on this. Trump is yesterday’s man. He’s not attracting financial backers. He’s done.
