We know!

But some do, especially the accused!  :)

You have missed the overall point really. Let's say a relative of yours needed some major surgery.  Would you be happy letting a surgeon operate who was currently being investigated for potentially killing his last 4 patients?

This is the insanity of the situation.

Judge clarifies: Yes, Trump was found to have raped E. Jean Carroll

And the defamation case is going to trial in January.

“The finding that Ms. Carroll failed to prove that she was ‘raped’ within the meaning of the New York Penal Law does not mean that she failed to prove that Mr. Trump ‘raped’ her as many people commonly understand the word ‘rape,’ ” Kaplan wrote.

Lol

He was tried under the New York Penal Code, in New York. Not based on what some nameless people "commonly understand" as rape! The Jury's verdict stands!

(With Democrats interpreting the law anyway they want, you can see why their cases go on for years, then flop!  :)  )

The accused shouldn't have lead chants of "Lock her up" in 2016 if he didn't want people prejudging others as guilty. Those who joined in those chants don't get to complain either.

You respond to a post about Trump being convicted of sexual assault - with the judge stating that yes, Trump's a rapist - with LOL.

If that doesn't yet again demonstrate exactly what sort of person you are nothing else will.

Former President Donald Trump is facing  78 criminal charges.

It is not 'more of the same' that you imply.

Those of us interested in American politics can see and hear for ourselves what is happening. Your assumption that being only 2500 km away from Washington gives you better insight is not borne out by the accuracy of your interpretations. What has recently happened is that the for the first time ever an American president or ex-president had been indicted in not one, but three and probably four criminal cases.

Criminal charges in the Jan 6th Insurrection Case  at U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Criminal charges in the Classified Documents Case at U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida(heard by a Trump appointee).

Criminal charges in the Falsifying business records Case in connection with a payoff to Stormy Daniels at New York state court.

Criminal charges in the Georgia Election Interference Investigation at Georgia state court.

Here's what they are saying somewhat closer to the events, than the usual lefties on Sheffield Forum.

Wall Street Journal

Trump indictment sets dangerous precedent, says Wall Street Journal editorial board

"“There is no evidence tying Mr. Trump to the Oath Keepers or Proud Boys who planned to, and did, breach the U.S. Capitol that day. That was the worst offense against democracy, and more than 1,000 people have been prosecuted in connection with it,” the editorial board wrote.

“This potentially criminalizes many kinds of actions and statements by a President that a prosecutor deems to be false. You don’t have to be a defender of Donald Trump to worry about where this will lead. It makes any future election challenges, however valid, legally vulnerable to a partisan prosecutor.”

The Hill

"While the conservative editorial board called Trump’s actions and rhetoric after the 2020 election “deceitful and destructive,” it questioned whether the conduct amounted to criminal behavior.

"Trump’s federal indictment might have “criminalized the actions by Al Gore and George W. Bush to contest the Florida election result in 2000,” the newspaper added".

Oh, what a tangled web we weave...................!  :)

This is the insanity of the situation.

The Authorities would simply go to a Judge (with evidence) and get an arrest warrant.

We are talking white collar process crimes here.

I'm sure we can all remember what we've covered about the 'too extreme for Rupert Murdoch and the paper's own journalists' WSJ editorial board, can't we?

It's not illegal to chant in a crowd, or the jails would be full of "Piggies in a blanket, fry 'em like bacon",screamers, against the neighborhood policemen!  :)

What's that got to do with the content of my post?

Didn't you say you were ignoring my posts from now on?  Would be absolutely delightful if you could crack on with that.
