The one where the widely predicted red wave failed to materialise.

 

The incumbent always suffers in the midterm elections. Biden did significantly better than either previous incumbents (Obama and Trump) did in their midterms.

 

I know you're not bothered but a search for "2022 midterm red wave" will produce plenty of reports explaining how the Republicans did far worse than expected and how the especially poor performance of election deniers contributed to that.

All national elections are close with mixed results when it comes down to election day.

 

The next one will be no different! The one prediction I hope to get wrong!

 

Even with Joe's personal popularity in the tank, the left will still vote for him, if he's on the ballot next time. It's not rocket science.

 

Same with Trump.

The Trump supporting media were the biggest cheerleaders for a predicted red wave.

 

Regardless of that, Trump did worse in his midterms than Biden did in his and candidates supporting Trump's election lies have performed worse than those who don't - even in votes between Republicans for their primaries.
