It's so annoying when you think you've got your kraken house trained then it just turns around and bites you on the ass.

May the guilty be punished! May the innocent go free!

America can sleep soundly and safer tonight!  :)

Imagine if BLM or the Biden family had tried to overturn a democratic election, set in train events that led to the storming of the Capitol to try and prevent the swearing in of the President etc  😎

Who was trying to "prevent the swearing in of the President"?

I see you’re not sleeping soundly in the Dominican Republic,

I'm not back in the DR yet, amigo. Can't wait though.

But I do sleep well. My adopted country is safe from your dysfunctional society of economic chaos,  endless wars. hate and rancour.

Sleep well yourself!  :)

So the world travellers answer is to retreat to the comfort of his hammock from where he can put the world to rights.

Enjoy.

Not the world. Just the 'West' and his beloved Sheffielders.

You don't hear him putting the Countries with the worst human rights abuses to rights.

But no, there's no hate in his adopted country

Lol

According to:

According to a report published by the Socialist Movement of Workers (MST)...

Civil society organizations and other observers raised ...

Nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) alleged that in some cases...

Civil society and international organizations reported that unlawful....

In the DR, the police's primary job is to keep the citizens and guests safe from crime. It does that remarkably well, with the full support of the population.

As I've said before, and from this article:

"The law permits police to apprehend, without an arrest warrant, any person caught in the act of committing a crime or reasonably linked to a crime, such as cases involving hot pursuit or escaped prisoners.  Police often detained all suspects and witnesses to a crime.  It was common for authorities to detain, fingerprint, question, and then release detainees with little or no explanation for the detention"

There are no violent protests, looting, arson and pillaging on the streets of the DR. They enjoy their fiercely competitive baseball games, without riots, or mounted police. Gays are  well integrated into society, (all mothers have 'em) and don't have to report their sexual preferences to anybody.

It is no place for thugs, louts, layabouts, or pearl clutching snowflakes from dysfunctional countries, that want to protect them and their "rights" :)

The public are supportive of their government:

From the article:

"The Dominican Republic is a representative constitutional democracy. In 2020, Luis Abinader of the Modern Revolutionary Party was elected president for a four-year term, the first transfer of power from one party to another in 16 years. Impartial outside observers assessed the election as generally free, fair, and orderly."

Once again, a Democratic society gets the government it deserves, no more, no less!

And they have no interest in importing your wars, hate, economic chaos, looting or your machete wielding mobs.

Fix up your own hell hole, before you start on the rest of the World, or you'll be at war forever.

Oh wait, too late!  :)

PS: The State Department?

Wasn't that used by Hillary to strongarm $billions in "charitable donations" from some of the world's worst oligarchs and dictators?
