Viktor Orbán Prime Minister of Hungary, a country which under his control refused to join the other members of the EU in their mutual Covid  vaccine purchase arrangement and bought Russian vaccine instead. Hungary has just veto'd the EU aid to Ukraine.

Orbán, Putin and Trump have their own little mutual admiration society going on.

 

In fairness it's not dissimilar to the arrangement between the US and the UK when we were EU members. Influencing political events by forming useful ' friendships ' with those with similar interests is as old as the hills.

 

Fortunately for Ukraine  EU member states are sovereign countries and can act  individually.

Perhaps not invading a neighbouring country might have helped slow down the chances of that happening?

 And the other two not praising it as an act of genius,  and vetoing aid to the invaded country  might also have shown a more peaceful approach as well. 🙄

Just another of the International Left's enemies list. People who stand in the way of their Marxist  dream to turn the Democratic West into the corrupt economic basket cases they thrive on controlling, and the looting their Treasuries.

 

Politicians and business leaders who will not join their socialist/communist schemes. Trump, a successful President by all metrics. Musk a genius who gave the world viable electric automobile technology, low cost internet satellites, and re-usable rockets to take our astronauts to space, Giuliani, Americas Mayor who cleaned up the New York cesspool and made it livable again.

 

You can throw any despicable lying allegations against Republicans, with no fear of repercussions, but Democrats are off limits, for now.

 

The only Republicans they allow to carry on are those who collude with them in their schemes. like McCain and Romney, but who were excoriated by these same Democrats when they posed a threat to the status quo, by running  for Presidential office. Now they are not a threat they are embraced as fellow travelers.

 

Only losing Republicans are spared the persecution.

 

But tis is under appeal, and falls into the, "we'll see" category of final outcomes.

 

Meanwhile with each allegation and charge against leading Republicans,  the American electorate are not buying the current "narrative" that all Republicans are despicable human beings, and all Democrats are pure as the driven snow!

 

And the current polls show am overwhelming disparity with the current "narrative", and reality.

 

So we'll see how this all ends up in 11 short moth's time, when the People are heard on the matter!

Successful presidents by all metrics tend to get elected for a second term.

 

Musk isn't a genius - his purchase of Twitter and the mess he's made of running it testify to that. He got a large amount of money from his parent's apartheid era gem mine and made some astute investments, including buying an already existing viable electric car company. The major car companies were never far behind in their production of electric vehicles.

 

Giuliani might have been America's Mayor once but doing praiseworthy things 25 years ago doesn't excuse anyone doing bad things now - like trying to overturn an election result. He was prosecuted for repeatedly telling lies about two election workers that put their lives at risk. Even after the verdict he's still repeating the lies and claims he has evidence they are true. I wonder why he didn't produce that "evidence" in court? The only person responsible for Giuliani's downfall is Rudy Giuliani.
