And the difference is that Dems will condemn him and want him gone should he be convicted.  There are already calls to have him stand down from people ranging from never Trump Republicans to the most progressive of Dems. 

 

Trump fans, meanwhile, deflect, deny and embrace their convicted felon more with each new transgression.

So mentally disabled that she thoroughly and repeatedly booted his arse around the stage at the debate and he's chickened out of doing any more. 

 

He spews so much of this rotten, mendacious swill, and has done so for so long, that people are becoming numb to it.  It's the new normal, or the new abnormal, as Molly Jong Fast's podcast has it.  No one believes it, but it's still out there, sloshing around the cesspool, contaminating anything it touches.  And where America goes, we follow, hence Truss, Johnson and co periodically spewing forth any manner of old tat.

 

Sooner America flushes the system the better.  Who would have thought we'd be looking favourably at Liz and Dick Cheney?  Upside-down world.

Some time ago I posted a link to a video where it was explained that after the Nixon debacle the Republican Party made it a deliberate policy to capture the low IQ vote.
