Leeds v Blades - Friday night

OPEN BORDERS

I'm going with 4-0 win for us, with Monty scoring :)

I'd be happy with a draw here... but let's be greedy

That would be nice but I will be happy with a point.

Billy will score he usually inflicts pain on his old clubs.

I hope we stuff them out of sight.

My dislike for Leeds comes from going to Elland Road with my Dad, we had the great early 70s team, Currie, Woody, Eddie C, Salmons, they had 11 internationals.... we lost 1-0, but they were the most nastiest, dirtiest, nigglyest, sneakiest bunch of footballers it has ever been my displeasure to watch.

You are not on your own mate most fans of football hated Leeds. They were dirty and bent every rule in the book.Bremner spent much of the matches chasing the refs complaining about everything he could think of.Hunter and Charlton kicked lumps off every bodies legs and Revie was the up market Del boy of football.

High scoring game I reckon. 4.3?

Goals have to be in whole numbers mate, no decimal points :hihi:

Agree it could be high scoring, may Leeds based mate said they have a great record if they score first but never go on to win if they concede first, so it could be a case of whoever scores first?

Any Blades remember Len Badger getting sent off at Elland Road after he lost his rag with the dirtiest player ever to play for Leeds.

Sure his name was Storrie, can't remember his christian name.

Probably around late 60's

Peter Storrie.
