Some of this is true - your blind if you think the tories approach to the economy is any less damaging than the labour approach and all those people recruited are working.

A mix of public and private is good, the bailiffs always look professional on TV ;)

Did we have 100% court employed bailiffs before, or didn't it get done?

You really believe that lol: If people where aware of their rights then it would be different. Yes, Court Bailiffs were just that. Commercial Bailiffs were always farmed out, to private people trained. Now it seems that, everything is outsourced. Now here is the rub, they still have no rights. People just accept that they do. Even the police seem to assist them. When a forced entry is a breach of the peace. All I can say is know your rights.

Important distinction between court appointed bailiffs who do have the right of entry, e.g. for evictions, and distress bailiffs who don't (unless you let them in, in which case they have an ongoing right of entry)

G4S being awarded the power to make arrests?

Would that be the same G4S that runs private prisons (very badly)?

No conflict of interest there then!

The same G4S that was paid 253 million by the Government to provide security for the Olympics, failed to do so which then cost a further 200+ million to draft in armed forces, taking them off their leave.

That G4S.

Such a move should be resisted very strongly. Private police forces would be

a hive for corruption. What next, private armies?

G4s:

Who will supervise them and monitor them? How would complaints and legal action against them be handled?

How will they be recruited and vetted?

This is where we might be going.

It is understood that a bid by outsourcing giant G4S, which has been suffering financial losses while running the service since 2012 due to having to deal with more asylum seekers than expected, was not accepted by the Home Office.

Don't you feel sorry for G4S now, lol, housing asylum seekers and making a loss.
