G4s at it again

Recommended Posts

G4S at it again, massive failings at Birmingham prison with the inmates running riot whilst staff take a nap.

Yet still this craven government keeps giving them contracts...brown envelopes involved, must be.

The thought had crossed my mind too.

The same G4S that was paid 253 million by the Government to provide security for the Olympics, failed to do so which then cost a further 200+ million to draft in armed forces, taking them off their leave.

That G4S.

Yes, that G4S.

If anyone can come up with a legitimate reason why this company, who seem to preside over one disaster after another, is still getting gvernment contracts, I'd be pleased to hear it....

Because both public and private companies mess up?

Usually, when a company messes up as spectacularly and publicly as this, the company loses the contract. Why does G4S' keep getting renewed

I believe in-house contracts can be better and cheaper, but when they do mess up, there isn't a contract to lose.

It is not a matter of in-house or contracted-out; its the work is set out. Working for a council myself, there is an attitude of keeping quiet.

Because, shrouded by shell company after shell company to hide them our MPs OWN SHARES in these companies.

Much like local government councillors like SCC have secret shares in the housing associations they sold off all the social housing off to at well below market value, to which then the associations ramped up the rents following the abolishment of the Fair Rents Act.

It's also why the government wants private healthcare to replace the NHS. It's big business they're missing out on because we have state-operated healthcare.

Sheer Corruption by any name.

Starting right at the top.

This country is now run by a load of crooks.

What disgraceful times we live in.
