The Joker
I know some staff resort to licking condensation off their windows and stewing up wrapping paper come week 6 because they’ve spent the lot. the scotch are generally like this all year round. Lockdoctor
My pal's employer will be closed between Christmas and New Year this year as they normally do, but have "broken with tradition" by just announcing that the December salary will not be paid before Christmas, but on the 28th instead. I suppose the staff should be grateful of the advance notice, but isn't the change a bit unusual? The staff have been notified two months in advance. What is the problem? RiffRaff
The staff have been notified two months in advance. What is the problem? I know. Beats me why my mate - and no doubt some of his office colleagues - are concerned. Totally and utterly baffling.

Stayed there a few years ago in some funky barrell shaped accommodation near the beach. Lovely wee idyllic fishing town. It’s in Fife. ---------- Post added 01-11-2017 at 22:11 ---------- goodness no, why on earth would I want to leave South Yorkshire Coz you’re a remainer. Thought you’d be well travelled.
