ENG601PM
Great news. Hopefully the money and assets that he's stolen will soon be seized and handed back to the people. A billion dollars goes a long way in Zim these days.

The Joker
A billion dollars goes a long way in Zim these days. I hope so, I saw a copy of the Zimbabwe Times on sale in my local newsagent several years back, when the Zanu PF purging was underway. The cover price was 80p Sterling, or 1,000,000 Zimbabwean Dollars.

ukdobby
Was there in the 70s when it was a rich country, went from that to one of the poorest,Mugaba is a awful bloke and the sooner he steps down the better though there's no certainty his replacement will be better. Mossway
C’mon, It’s Africa ! Whatever happens, the next lot will screw up. Apart from the climate and scenery everything else next year will be worse. New snouts in the trough (after the honeymoon) I’m (obviously) a cynic, but having spent some time in central and southern Africa I’m not optimistic (sadly)! taxman
It doesn't matter one iota if Mugabe lives or falls, it will still be a basket state. And he'll be allowed to retire to South Africa with the entirety of the country's wealth. He should be put in jail and all his, and his family's, wealth taken off him. Otherwise he still wins.
