Bargepole23
The corruption in Africa is shocking,is there any African country thriving now it's got rid of their colonial partner? You make it sound like those African countries went into partnership with white European nations, rather than being used for their natural resources or suitability for farming etc.
ENG601PM
Whatever the various rights and wrongs of colonial rule, Zim began its independent status with a well functioning system of government. After nearly forty years of managing its own affairs under a Marxist president it cant feed its population, or provide them with clean water, fuel, or energy, and doesn't even have its own currency. Self rule has been a home made disaster for Zim. We will soon find out if one set of Marxist criminals are replaced by another set of Marxist criminals. Corruption on various levels operates in every country but Africa is something else in the corruption league!

geared
The news has been saying for a few days now that he either leave now or gets dragged out of office in the next few days. Public humiliation was a big sticking point for him apparently.
