I1L2T3
sounds more like a libellous rant than an opinion. Not really. You can buy anti-Daily Mail t-shirts with similar stuff on. I know forums that have much worse stuff about the Daily Mail on them. Are you going to be the self-appointed online copper that reports them too? choogling
I would like to know what newspapers the anti-daily mail read, assuming they do actually buy one.
Cyclone
Do you want to boycott them? I'd take a guess at the guardian, the independent and perhaps even the telegraph or the times. I read them online though, haven't bought one in years.

Yeah like most Guardian readers, read it for nowt online, usually while they are supposed to be working The readers of the likes of the DM and the Sun, whose opinions you despise, are generally working class people who don't spend all day on the internet, they buy their newspapers from the newsagents and skim through it in their break times, they suck up headlines less than the Guardianista and the SJWs, you can keep your Owen Jones type kids, the guys never done a days graft in his life, like many middle class socialists

A drop in the DM sales figures by 6.9% in 2017, a circulation reduction of over 2 million over the past 10 years and yet they have one of the world's most visited websites (even beating several huge American news websites a few years ago). Seems to me that there are far more of these so called working class people using the Internet to access the DM for free than you want to admit. We are not in the 70s any more brother. Car Boot
you can keep your Owen Jones type kids, the guys never done a days graft in his life, like many middle class socialists Oh come on. Has Quentin Letts, the main Political Commentator (and theatre critic) for the Daily Mail, ever done a hard days 'graft' in his life? He started off as a theatre critic, that physically demanding working class occupation that gives this man of the people such an insight into the lives of the poor and disadvantaged. At least Owen Jones has met working class people!

Michael_W
Was this somehow relevant to the topic? It's relevant to the topic because you have stated that you would like to see the DM out of business, in your typical leftist vitriolic ranting view, you believe the DM (and other right leaning media) incites this alleged hatred you and your ilk 'hyperbolically' go on about. The point I am making is that the the actual buyers of 'hardcopy newspapers' like The Daily Mail , The Sun, The Star etc are generally working class people ..... yep the very ones that you and the middle class Guardianista socialist types try and include in their list of causes. Secondly If you think more broadly about the subject matter, that of pressuring advertisers to pull away from media outlets like the DM, because you don't agree with their political leaning, what happens to the people employed in the print and production of that media when it closes due to your spiteful opinion blocking stance .... do you actually see the hypocrisy in potentially putting people out of work ---------- Post added 26-11-2017 at 12:10 ---------- I very much doubt it. Your mistaking the working class for the Guardianista who read the DM online so they can have a froth about its content, brother Edited November 26, 2017 by Michael_W
Guest
Yep, it strikes me a being disingenuous, more or a PR exercise / damage limitation, than a heart felt apology. I would imagine they were well aware of the nature of the DM all along. I wonder if Paperchase will donate profits made, that can reasonably quantifiably be attributed to its Daily Mail advertising, to charity. LOL.
