Accompanied by Sheffield's best blues musicians this is one not to miss - 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month 9pm, free entry. Wednesday 29th November: Quiz Night The highly irreverent Quiz is every Wednesday at The White. Hosted by the inimitable Mr Bling, you and your team must overcome 3 rounds of general knowledge, an audio round and a picture round in order to claim the prize. £30 + more to be won! Throw into the mix some random challenges, spot prizes, lashings of real ale and a completely free buffet with veggie, vegan and gluten-free options and you're onto a winner. 9pm, 50p entry Thursday 30th November: Jam Night Hosted by Sheffield legend Chris Firminger and backed by his regular house band The TwoJays, this evening provides a platform for musicians from all over Sheffield and further afield. Renowned for the musicians it attracts, the Thursday Jam sees regular attendance and performance from the likes of Julian Jones, The Carnival, Open Jaw Fayre, The Crashers, Grave Danger, Fahrenheit, Vamp and many more. Full backline and P.A. provided, come watch or join in. 8.30pm, free entry Friday 1st December: The Steve French Band BLUES guitar maestro Steve French takes you on whirlwind tour to hear the immortal licks of guitar legends from all over the world - all in one night. Steve's powerful, yet soulful playing reflects his passion for the music. His wide-ranging musical influences extend from Jimi Hendrix to Freddie King. "Hendrix, Vaughan, power and passion....a Stratocaster hero in the Blues tradition" ~ The Star 9.30pm, free entry Saturday 2nd December: Metropolis Metröpolis are a 4 piece classic rock band from Sheffield, UK - playing original material and their own spin on classic-rock songs. Influences include Motorhead, Saxon, Steel Panther, AC/DC, Airbourne, Led Zeppelin, ZZ Top, Def Leppard, and Motley Crue. 9.30pm, free entry Sunday 3rd December: Chris McMahon's Folk Afternoon Hosted by renowned musician Chris McMahon of Treebeard, a Sunday afternoon session of folk music. Expect traditional, expect contemporary, expect the unexpected! This month's guests are Follow The Moon. Formed in 2014 by renowned singer/songwriter Ceri Ashton, Follow The Moon are a six piece act who will be playing original material and folk versions of pop songs. 3.30pm, free entry.
